R507 is a Freon-based refrigerant commonly used in commercial refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. It is a hybrid HFC consisting of two gases, R125 (vinyl pentafluoride) and R143a (trifluoroethane.) R507 performs better in the low temperature range and is widely used in medium and high temperature refrigeration systems.
